DiversifiED Summer Apprenticeship Program (DSAP) 2024

DSAP 2021 First Day

Program Dates: 4-5 weeks in July and August.  July 9 - August 8, 2024. We typically meet Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12 pm-2 pm EST.

Application Deadline: April 8, 2024.  Application link will be live by March 6, 2024

The DiversifiED Summer Apprenticeship Program is a summer experience for pre-medical students who are highly motivated, but have not had experiences in the medical field, or received guidance in positioning themselves to apply successfully to medical school. Our objective is to introduce our apprentices to the medical field and scholarship, connect them to mentorship and peer networks, and demystify the medical school application process. Applicants will be considered on an individual basis with consideration given to those who have a serious interest in addressing the healthcare needs of the underserved and without ready access to mentorship and resume-building opportunities.

Our efforts will build a medical workforce with individuals who have had a diverse range of life experiences and are deeply committed to reducing healthcare disparities.
