Our goal is to facilitate rapid outpatient follow-up and treatment of patients with non-surgical orthopedic injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Welcome

Dr. Abdul Aziz-Ahmed
The Emergency Department Orthopedic Sports Medicine Program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYP-Weill Cornell and Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). The Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians who are fellowship-trained and dual-certified in Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine. We see patients who are either referred to the clinic from the Emergency Room, Orthopedics Department, Internal Medicine, or self-referrals/word-of-mouth.
The Clinic also provides valuable learning opportunities for second-year emergency medicine residents, who are completing clinical rotations in orthopedics, to enhance their orthopedic knowledge and skills.
