Kaushal Shah, M.D. Receives National American College of Emergency Physicians Faculty Teaching Award

Congratulations to Dr. Kaushal Shah, Vice Chair of Education and Assistant Dean of Academic Advising at Weill Cornell Medicine, for being selected to receive the National American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Faculty Teaching Award!
 
This award honors outstanding educators in emergency medicine and recognizes their tremendous efforts in advancing the specialty. It recognizes excellence in teaching, including development of innovative educational programs, community education, and contributions to regional and global programs. 
 
Dr. Shah has lectured regionally, nationally, and internationally in his areas of expertise, trauma and medical education. He has mentored hundreds of residents and medical students over his 20 years in Emergency Medicine. As a member of the ACEP Clinical Policies Committee, he has helped to author over 10 national guidelines. He has also edited several textbooks, including Urban Emergency Medicine published this month and the second edition of Practical Emergency Resuscitation and Critical Care which will be published later this year.
