Please join us in congratulating Dr. Justine Ko, Dr. Sasha Gifford and Emilee Nawa, P.A.-C. on their acceptance on their acceptance to the 2023-2024 Leadership in Academic Medicine Program (LAMP) at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM). Emilee is also the first physician assistant to be accepted in the history of the program!
LAMP is a development program for junior WCM faculty designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of career planning, self-management and leadership skills. Accepted faculty attend monthly workshops throughout the academic year, including sessions with senior faculty mentors. Curriculum topics include promotion and tenure, presentation of work, conflict management, negotiation skills and much more.
Skills acquired through this program provide early-career faculty with the necessary tools to accomplish their career goals and lead to success as an academician.
