Dr. Susan Fraymovich Appointed Assistant Director of Education for Pediatric Emergency Medicine 

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Susan Fraymovich as Assistant Director of Education for Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Fraymovich joined the division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in 2017. She graduated from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010. She completed her pediatrics residency training at Maimonides Medical Center and Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Northwell Health.    

Dr. Fraymovich has been instrumental in developing and restructuring the educational curriculum in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine for faculty, fellowship, and residency programs. She serves as the Associate Director for the Weill Cornell Medicine Transition-to-Residency course and was honored to receive a 2021 Excellence in Medical Education Award for this role. She is also an Assistant Course Director for LEAP (Longitudinal Educational Experience Advancing Patient Partnerships) in the medical college. Dr. Fraymovich was a member of the 2020-21 Faculty Incubator Class of Academic Life in Emergency Medicine (ALiEM) of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM).    

Since joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Fraymovich has held an active role as a leader in education for both the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics and will continue to expand and develop innovative initiatives in this new position.
