Dr. Neel Naik Receives the SAEM Simulation Academy Innovator Award

Dr. Neel Naik is the recipient of the 2019 Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Simulation Academy Innovator Award.  This national award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated creative, novel and transformative use of medical simulation.

Dr. Naik completed his medical education at Northwestern University and his residency in Emergency Medicine at New York University/Bellevue Hospital, where he was selected chief resident.  Neel then completed a simulation fellowship at NYU and joined the NewYork-Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Emergency Medicine faculty in 2016. 

He is currently the Director of Emergency Medicine Simulation Education and assistant professor of clinical  emergency medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine.
