Dr. Josyann Abisaab Co-Authors Paper in The Lancet Global Health

Congratulations to Dr. Josyann Abisaab, who co-authored a paper published last week in The Lancet Global Health titled “The toll of cascading crises on Lebanon's health workforce.”
Dr. Abisaab collaborated with clinicians and researchers from Yale University Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, and the American University of Beirut Medical Center, as well as government officials from the Ministry of Health in Lebanon. The paper addresses the wide array of crises the Lebanese healthcare system and workforce are currently facing. Dr. Abisaab and her colleagues propose four specific recommendations involving funding, task-shifting, and leveraging technology and the resources of the health workforce outside of Lebanon.
The Lancet Global Health is a monthly, online journal featuring original research, review, commentary, and correspondence focused on disadvantaged populations.
