Department of Emergency Medicine Receives New York ACEP Inaugural Exemplary Commitments to Physician Well-Being Department Award

New York American College of Emergency Physicians (New York ACEP) has selected the Department of Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine as a recipient of the inaugural Exemplary Commitment to Physician Well-Being Award.

The award recognizes departments and residency programs demonstrating exemplary physician well-being through operations, social functions, diversification, equity, education and/or environment.

This award is a testament to the Department’s dedication to well-being and creation of an exceptional and collaborative work environment. The Department’s core principles include diversity, inclusion, mentorship, and a commitment to wellness and community service.

New York ACEP represents more than 3,100 dedicated professionals committed to speaking out for broad access to quality health care, including and especially emergency health services for all citizens with a mission to support quality emergency medical care and to promote the interest of emergency physicians.
