Please join us in congratulating Andrew Jacobowitz, MS, PA-C, Associate Chief Physician Assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine, on his acceptance to the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) Clinical Quality Fellowship Program (CQFP).
CQFP is a 15-month program sponsored by GNYHA and the United Hospital Fund (UHF) to develop and nurture the next generation of clinical quality leaders in the New York metropolitan region. The program teaches clinicians the necessary skills to lead health system quality improvement (QI) and patient safety initiatives. A faculty of quality and operational leaders drawn from the region will teach fellows how to use a wide variety of tools and strategies to advance quality and patient safety.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and the Pace University-Lenox Hill Physician Assistant program. He completed his physician assistant residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, before being hired full-time in 2016. For the past two years, he has organized the Department's annual Clinical Updates in Emergency Medicine for the Advanced Practice Provider Conference.
