The New York American College of Emergency Physicians has named Dr. Sam Senturia one of its inaugural 2020 Unsung Heroes.
The honor, presented for the first time this year, goes to emergency physicians who go above and beyond for their colleagues, patients and community. According to NYACEP, recipients embody what it means to be an emergency physician. They train young clinicians, share their skills, knowledge and experience and are always willing to do whatever is needed for their patients and colleagues
Dr. Senturia is assistant professor clinical emergency medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM). He is known, by colleagues, as a dedicated and loyal faculty member who leads by example.
