Winter 2024

Welcome to the Winter 2024 edition of the Department of Emergency Medicine newsletter.

As we begin 2024, I want to thank our faculty, clinicians and administrative staff whose dedication and tireless efforts made the past year an extraordinary one. In 2023 we celebrated a significant milestone: our fifth anniversary as an academic department within Weill Cornell Medicine. Our Department’s growth and expansion was featured in a recent article on WCM Newsroom which is available below.

Looking ahead to 2024, we will persist in our mission to deliver the highest quality care to our patients, provide advanced training and education to the next generation of emergency medicine clinicians and leaders, and conduct rigorous research to further the practice of emergency medicine. We will also continue to cultivate an inspiring and supportive environment which promotes academic endeavors, leadership development, clinical excellence, mentorship and diversity.

It is a gift to work with such a talented and exceptional group of people. Thank you for making our Department everything that it is and we look forward to a new year filled with growth, innovation, and outstanding patient care.

Please enjoy this latest edition of our newsletter!
