The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine has announced the appointment of two new assistant directors of Clinical Services effective January 1, 2021.
Dr. Nicole Gerber, Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Clinical Pediatrics, has been appointed Assistant Director of Clinical Services in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Gerber joined the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in 2018 and is a dedicated physician who is committed to improving the quality of care for children.
Dr. Gerber is a graduate of the Leadership in Academic Medicine (LAMP) program at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and was accepted to the Quality Improvement Academy at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine in 2020. Dr. Gerber earned her medical degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. She completed her training in Pediatric and Pediatric Emergency Medicine at New York University/Bellevue Hospital Center, New York, NY.
Dr. Vincent Uy has been appointed Assistant Director of Clinical Services in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Uy is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Clinical Pediatrics and joined the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in 2018. Since then, he has completed the Leadership in Academic Medicine (LAMP) program at WCM and has shown great leadership initiative at NYP-Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Dr. Uy earned his medical degree at the University of Sano Tomas, Espana, Manila, Philippines, and completed his training in Pediatrics at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY, where he also served as Director of the Pediatric Emergency Service.
