Nothing About Me Without Me: Partnering With Your Providers for Better Healthcare

Event Date:
Tuesday, October 27, 2026 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
October is Patient-Centered Care Awareness Month. Patients who feel informed, respected and involved in their care are more likely to trust their healthcare team, follow through with treatment plans and experience better outcomes. This session will explore how you can advocate for a patient-centered care experience for yourself. Learn what “patient-centered care” means, what it looks like and why your voice matters. You will leave this virtual session with practical strategies to prepare for planned visits or unplanned emergencies, make sound decisions regarding your health and ask for clarification when you need more information.
